Mrs. Iris Morgan age 90 of Decatur passed away Dec. 26, 2014.She was born to Samuel and Nolie Thrasher Alexander in Lawrence county on April 7, 1924. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth Dinsmore Morgan. Also preceded by a son Dennis Morgan. Survivors include a son Kenneth Morgan and wife Mary of Decatur, a daughter Phyllis Morgan of Springville. There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on tuesday at Graves Gap Cemetery in Blount County. Pallbearers will be family a friends. Bro. Samuel Reid will officiate. Peck Funeral Home will direct. There will be no visitation.
