Funeral service for Bonnie Rae Hancock McAfee, 85, who died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Summerford Nursing Home, is scheduled for Monday, Dcember 29, 2014, at 11 a.m., Moss Funeral Home, with burial at Sardis Cemetery, Trimble. Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McAfee was born in Cullman on August 3, 1929, to Jesse and Erma Hancock. She was predeceased in death by her parents, her son, Charles Ray “Chuck” McAfee; and her twin sister, Betty Fay Whitlock. She and her husband, Charles Major McAfee, were owners of McAfee Fashions in Cullman and Hartselle for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Charles Major McAfee; daughter, Jeannine Hill, Decatur; granddaughter, Julie McAfee, Madison; grandsons, Jon McAfee and Landon McAfee, both of Decatur; five great-grandsons; brothers, Roger Hancock, Fayetteville, GA and Richard Hancock, Cullman; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Summerford’s for their excellent care and for all the love shown to Bonnie. –
