Cleatus “Byron” Childers, 72, of Taft, TN, passed away Sunday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Lois Carter Childers. Mr. Childers is survived by his wife of 54 years, Burlene Miller Childers; children: Pam Childers Gill (Tony) and Greg Childers (Penny); sister, Regina Swafford; brother, Tim Childers; grandchildren, Haley Childers Whaley (Kevin) and Craig Childers; great-grandson, Kyler Eli Whaley; and step mother, Maudie Childers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 23rd from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Eads. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery.
