James Herman Hill, 49, of Double Springs passed away on December 18, 2014 in Birmingham.
He was born on July 26, 1965 in Haleyville. James graduated from Winston County High School in 1983. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10-11am at Fairview Baptist Church in Double Springs, where services will be held at 11am. Reverend Jerry Pearson Will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Hill; son, Jamie (Amanda) Hill; he was Paw Paw to three grandchildren, Joshua, Jaylon and Chloe Beth Hill; and aunts, Jane Hood, Ester White, Eloise Aderholt and Betty Abbott.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis J. Hill, grandmother, Vernell Chambers Cash, grandfather, Wesley Lee Hill and grandmother, Lola Mae Hill.
