Funeral service for Dwight Wayne Lindsey, 63, of Danville, will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Shockley and Bro. Thomas Erb officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Lindsey died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 6, 1951, in Lawrence County, to Dee Laney Lindsey and Dixie Earley Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Lindsey.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Lindsey (Amanda Cole Lindsey), and Aaron Lindsey; two brothers, Mike Lindsey (Danita) and Jimmy Lindsey (April); two sisters, Annette Riggs and Pat Payne (Johnny);
two grandchildren,
Keilyn Lindsey and
Ava Lindsey; and stepmother, Pat Lindsey. Caregiver, Amber Tanner.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley.
