Neal Grady Blaxton – Obituary

Funeral for Neal Grady Blaxton, 63, of Moulton will be Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Bond, Rev. Harold Fisher and Rev. Scott Coffey officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Brother Blaxton, who died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 12, 1951, in Courtland to Jake Blaxton Jr. and Bessie Mae Peebles Blaxton. He was Pastor of Straight Gospel Missionary Baptist Church and an automobile sales consultant. He loved NASCAR, Alabama football and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Cecil Blaxton, Billy Wayne Blaxton, Sheila Letson Perry and Rita Kay Williams and one son, Christopher Todd Blaxton.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Owens Blaxton; two sons, Jeremy Neal Blaxton and Brian Nicholas Blaxton; eight grandchildren, Hannah Blaxton, Anna Katherine Blaxton, Neal Grady Blaxton II, Tristan Blaxton, Lane Blaxton, Landen Blaxton, Trace Blaxton and Zoey Blaxton; and two sisters, Linda Owen and Brenda Blaxton Meredith.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Blaxton, Nicky Blaxton, Jake Allen Jordan, Enz Ray Jordan, Brandon “Buddy” Letson and Craig Blaxton.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
