Funeral services for Bro. Garry “Pops” Parker, age 56, are scheduled for 2 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Natchez Trace Missionary Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Parker passed away Thursday at his home in Lexington. He was born April 25, 1958 in Henderson County. He was Pastor at Old Bethel Baptist Church and worked in subassembly at Leroy Somer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lester and Callie Burton Parker and one brother, Ricky Parker. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Donna Parker; his son, Joey Parker; his daughter, Lisa (Pudge) Middleton; two brothers, Larry (Debbie) Parker and Danny (Vickie) Parker; and his sister, Lilly (Mike) Story.
