Tommy Gerald Whitfield, 72, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Young Town Cemetery. He was the husband of Shirley Mae Peoples Whitfield.
