Margie Scott , age 78, of Hackleburg, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Hackleburg, Alabama on Monday, Sept. 14, 1936 to Zell and Letha Tyra Lolley.
Visitation will be today from noon-2 p.m., and the service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home, with burial in Union Hill Cemetery. Brother Josh Pierce will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years, William (Bill) Scott; children, Scotty (Lorie) Cochran, Dean (Brice) Scott, Christie Arnold, Shanna (Joe) Orick, and Carla (Roger) Ford; special granddaughter and caregiver, Cherish Arnold; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Effie Tilley and Evelyn Galbreath; sisters-in-law, Velma Lolly, Opal Lolley, and Nola (Eugene) Nix;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
