Marvin Ray Hamm – Obituary

Marvin Ray Hamm, age 64, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. today in Colbert Memorial Chapel with services to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Brother Richard McDonald will be officiating. He attended Sunnyside Church of God.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ben and Lillie Hamm, brothers, Charles Hamm and Earl Hamm, and sisters, Bonnie Wimbs and Sue Pennington.

Survivors are wife of 36 wonderful years, Pam Hamm; son, Joshua Ray Hamm; daughters, Amanda Hamm May (Kenny) and Crystal Hamm; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne, Lloyd, and Marshall Hamm.

Pallbearers will be David Hamm, Chris Hamm, James Letsinger, John Letsinger, Jason Hamm, and Paul Gregory.

A special thanks to Dr. Dorene Morris and her full staff, and Gentiva Hospice and their staff of great nurses, and the many friends and family members who have come by our home and helped during the time of our loss; his mother-in-law, Mattie Lee, and grandson, Carson, who loved and took wonderful care of Papaw.
