Charles Thomas Gardner, Sr., 74, of Athens passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. He is survived by his wife Shirley Gardner; two daughters, Susan Lunsford and Debbie Zachary; two sons, Tom Gardner, Jr. and Mike Gardner; brother, Lee Gardner; sister, Lynda Smith; two grandchildren, Joseph Gardner and Mathew Lunsford; two great grandchildren, Braden Becknal and Brodie Becknal. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your favorite charity. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. There will be memorial service and burial in Jonesboro, Arkansas at a later date.
