Funeral service for Doris King Houston, 88, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home, with Brother Walter Blackman officiating. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till time of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Houston was born April 07, 1926 in Mississippi to Albert and Addie Kendall King, she passed away December 01, 2014 at Summerford Nursing Home. Mrs. Houston was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Americus, GA, and had been an active member of W.M.U. Mrs. Houston is survived by one son; Clyde Reece Hill and wife Teresa of Americus, GA, two grandchildren; Terri A. Norwood and husband Charles of Hartselle, Clyde R. Hill Jr. and wife Stacie of Columbus, GA, five great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
