Dolly Alene Briscoe passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born to Tommy Raymond and Lena Speegle. Mrs. Briscoe was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amuil Booth Briscoe; brothers, Dewey Speegle and Bobby Speegle; sisters, Sara Willodean Sharp and Barbara Faye St. John.
Mrs. Briscoe is survived by her son, Mike Briscoe (Gina) of Decatur; three sisters, Helen Cox of Orlando, FL, Rilla Lott of Decatur and Edna Henson of Decatur; and two granddaughters, Elle and Olivia Briscoe.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Hyche officiating. A time of gathering with the family will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Roselawn Funeral Home.
