Memorial service for Lynn Goodman, 73, of Hillsboro will be today, November 23, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Conrey Jones and Jason Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Goodman was born April 30, 1941, in Talladega County to Emer Lee Highfield and Letha Edna Gibson Highfield. She died November 21, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald D. Goodman; and one brother, Carlton Highfield.
Survivors include son,
Chuck Yates (Liz), of Hartselle; two grandsons, Adam Yates (Misty), of Decatur and
Drew Yates (Lori), of Hartselle; six great- grandchildren,
Kaitlyn Yates, Blakely Yates, McKenna Yates, Noah Yates, Miles Yates and Wyatt Yates; two brothers, Jack Highfield and Gary Highfield, both of Talladega; one sister, Edna Lau (Mike), of Town Creek.
