Mrs. Maydean Young, 94, of Iron City, Tennessee, passed away Nov. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was a member of Railroad United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, from noon-2 p.m. at Railroad United Methodist Church. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. John Allen Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Arch Allen Young, parents, Austin Boone and Cordelia Bratcher, and brothers, Ernest and Carmel Bratcher.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Young Fitzpatrick (Patrick), of Iron City, Tennessee; sister, Kathleen Leshock, of Calgary, Canada; grandchildren, Andrea Turnbow Hopper (Blake), of Rogers, Arkansas, and Chad Turnbow, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Micaela, Nicholas and Cason Hopper, of Rogers, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be John Young, Bobby Talley, Bill Young, Greg Young, Charles Young, and Kelly Young.
