Louise V. Williams, age 94, of Sheffield, met her Savior Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. Her family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, 1-2 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Keith Davis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mrs. Williams was a member of Cox Boulevard Church of Christ. She was a founding member of East Side Church of Christ in Sheffield, a member of the Sweet Adeline’s, a member of the Poet Society and performed in numerous plays.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Norman Williams, parents, Henry and Molly Goodman, son-in-law, Bruce Bulman, three brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Lynn Williams (Lee Charron) and Jerry Williams (Nancy); daughter, Betty Bulman; grandchildren, Beth, Brent, Blake, Brewster, Michael, Kathryn, Jennifer, Candace, and Brianna, six great-grandsons; and six great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Burney, Brent Bulman, Blake Bulman, Michael Williams, Rhett Bulman, and Josh Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers are Ashton Aigner, William Grubbs, Dr. Jerry Williams, and Dustin Bulman.
The Williams family expresses special thanks to Genoa Aigner and her wonderful family for the loving care of their mother; also, thanks to Dr. Teresa Olsen, Dr. Jerry Williams, Myra, Teresa, Helen, Jimmy, the Grubbs, the staff of Helen Keller Hospital and Home Health, and Gentiva Hospice.
