Ed retired from Uniroyal and Royal Adhesives after 40 years. He served in the 2nd Battalion 46th Infantry in the US Army from 1961-1967. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Notre Dame Football, and telling stories about all the birds and wildlife in his yard, especially the red bird that would peck at his window every day. He could fix anything from a car to a refrigerator and would help anyone in need. You would never leave his house hungry and always had a bag full of fruit when you left. He was a true southern gentleman with the kindest heart. We will forever miss our Daddy and Pa.
