ronaldRonald Louis Pate, 68, suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm Oct 30 and went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, Oct 31, 2014. A great man of courage, a great man of integrity, a great man who lived by his core beliefs and values with no exception. Loving and protective, he always sacrificially cared for his family and those less fortunate that God placed in his path. Ronald Louis Pate will be laid to rest beside his bride, BJ Pate, who he is now reunited with in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ. We grieve with hope and joy because his faith is now his sight and we too shall go to him one day. “Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death if His saints.” Dad/Pappy, you have won the race! Hallelujah! We are forever grateful for your legacy that lives on. To God be all the glory. He is survived by his brother, Kerry Pate; daughters Meredith Pate and Robin Pate Cury (Thiago Cury); Grand children, Olivia Pate, Griffin Cury, Linley Howell, Hogan Howell, Hagen Howell, Luke Onofre, Liam Onofre, Maxton Howell; nephew, Chad Pate and family. He is also survived by step-children, Rusty Howell, Angie Gullick, Mannix Howell, Tammy Onofre, Coy Howell. Ron was laid to rest at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
