Funeral service for Herschel Redding Gray, age 76, of Moulton, will be Friday, November 21, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nelson Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Grove First Congregational Methodist Cemetery.
Mr. Gray, who died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 1, 1938, in Lawrence County, to Coy Wesley Gray and Mildred Joann Shelton Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Michelle Gray.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Miller Gray of Moulton; one son, Brian Gray (Dona) of Moulton; three sisters, Carolyn Bolan, Joann Layton, and Darlene Norman; two granddaughters, Jessica Bowling and Jennifer Young; and two great-grandchildren, Coy Lane Young and Leah Bowling.
Pallbearers will be Jason Gray, Bob Sims, Adam Bowling, Ronnie Harris, Carol Randolph, and Bruce Shelton.
