Rufus Edward Hartman, Jr., 65, of Huntsville passed away Sunday at his residence. Rufus was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. He was retired from Dunlop Tire and Rubber Co. as the Vice President of the union and was a member of Mable Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons: Brian Dale Hartman, Chris S. Hartman and Zachary S. Hartman; three daughters: Kimberly Gibson, Bonita Rodkey and Maranda Russell; two brothers: Barry Hartman and James Michael Hartman; one sister: Ann Pack; nine grandchildren and two step- grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial Chapel service at 6:00 p.m. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
