Clara Mae Norton, 71, of Madison, passed away Monday, November 16, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Woodville, AL.
Mrs. Norton was an Electronics Technician with the Chrysler Corporation until her retirement in March 2002, after 30 years of services. She enjoyed sharing stories about her days at Chrysler, was an avid fan of Alabama football and NASCAR. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement years focused on her family and friends.
Mrs. Norton is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Norton; parents, William Lee Keel, Sr. and Bertie Mae Keel Richards; sister, May Edith Butler. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kay Riley (Walter) of Madison; granddaughter, Clara Ashley Cross of Madison; sister, Rebecca Ann West of Huntsville; brothers, William L. Keel, Jr. (Betty) and Bobby Leonard Keel (Jean), all of Woodville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 12 noon chapel service with Ray Palmer officiating. Burial will be at Woodville Union Cemetery in Woodville.
