Vivian Irene LaGesse, 85, of Lexington, TN, was called Home by our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 13th, 2014, after a sudden illness. Always kind and compassionate, she retired after serving others as a Registered Nurse with a career that spanned over 40 years. In her retirement, she became an avid painter, winning several blue ribbons at the Henderson County Fair for her works. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bernard LaGesse, two sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by two sisters, one brother, and her six children: Deborah LaGesse, Jackson, TN; Janet Spencer, Katy, TX; Jim LaGesse, St. Louis, MO; Denise LaGesse, Fort Worth, TX; Christine Wood, San Antonio, TX; and Tom LaGesse, Lexington, TN; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. There will be a visitation at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington on Saturday, November 15th, from 9am until 12:30pm. Funeral Mass will follow at 2pm at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Lexington. Interment will be at Henderson County Memorial Gardens in Lexington immediately after the Funeral Mass.
