Rosie Mae Garner, 54, of Florence, Alabama, died Monday, Nov. 3, at her residence. Public viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Trinity Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Mt. Olievia Missionary Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Dr. George Granville is officiating.
Rosie was preceded in death by her mother, Vester L. Granville Garner, sister, Lula L. Granville, and brothers, Willie E. Granville and James W. Carroll.
Rosie leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Annie and Mecko Johnson, and one son, Timothy Garner, all of Florence, Alabama; brothers, Dr. George (Mattie) Greenville, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Lawrence (Linda) Garner and Allen (Bridget) Garner, of Florence, Alabama, and Steven (Parvell) Garner, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sisters, Martha J. Carter, Tuscumbia, Alabama, Vesta Granville, Birmingham, Alabama, and Charlotte (Reverend Lawrence) Pearson, Sheffield, Alabama; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
