Athens State Art Professors Participating in Carnegie Art Center Exhibition

ATHENS. – Three Athens State University Art Professors have been selected to be exhibited in Create, Inspire Teach! at the Carnegie Visual Arts Center in Decatur, Alabama.

CITGail Bergeron, who teaches studio art at the Alabama Center for the Arts will be exhibiting four oil painting, January 2014, Two on the Beach with a Bag, Farmer’s Market and Left Drift
Pamela Keller, who teaches graphic design and art history will be exhibiting for photographs, Lily, Magnolia, Porch and Through the Trees. Mary Beth Johns, who teaches art education will be exhibiting a painting entitled The Great Depression.alacenter of arts
Create, Inspire, Teach! is inspired by the excellence in art education at all grade levels in area communities. Designed to give art teachers and instructors a venue to display their works to further encourage their students and showcase their individual talents, this juried exhibit was open to all certified teachers and instructors Morgan County, Alabama.
The exhibit opens November 18 and runs through January 10, 2015. Exhibits times and information can be found at carnegiearts.org. Admission to view the exhibits is free with donations welcomed.
