John R. Russell, 62, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Florence, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Leighton. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
