Evelyn Oswalt Love, 89, of Memphis, formerly of Florence, Alabama, passed away Nov. 2, 2014. The family will receive friends 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at Family Funeral Care on Summer Avenue in Memphis. They will also visit on Friday, Nov. 7, beginning at noon at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, until the graveside service at 1 p.m. in the Memory Hill Gardens. Mrs. Love was a devoted and loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Love Sr., and and her son, James Calvin Love Jr.
Mrs. Love is survived by her son, David Love (Alicia); her brother, Robert Lee Oswalt (Shirley); and five grandchildren, Jim Love III, Jon Love, Stephen Love, Bethany Enyart, and Allison Love.
