Jerry Pounders Sr., 79, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont. The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Belmont Memory Gardens. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
