David Ralph Hand, 71, of Florence, Alabama, died Friday, October 31, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, November 3 from 11:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Edgil officiating. Interment will be at Central Heights Community Cemetery.
David was retired from Reynolds Metals and Holt’s Radiator & Battery. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Highland Baptist Church, Florence, Al.
He is preceded in death by his parents David Clarence and Etta Mae Borden Hand and brother, Larry Hand.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Talma Andrews Hand , daughters, Allison Scott (Chris), Florence, Tina Richey, Florence, Cindy Tumlinson (Jim), Hartselle, brother, Jerry Hand (Dean), Muscle Shoals, sisters, Faye Holt, Tuscumbia, Margie Mitchell, Sheffield, Barbara Wilson (Virgil), Tuscumbia, grandchildren, Robin and Conner Tumlinson, Cameron and Zac Scott.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Andrews, Mickey Oliver, Zac Scott, Cameron Scott, Conner Tumlinson, Clay McKinney.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Scott and Jim Tumlinson.
