Funeral for Michael “Mike” Wayne Garrie, 44, of Moulton will be Saturday, November 1, 2014, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home with Greg Standridge officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Garrie, who died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Parkway Hospital, was born September 18, 1970, in Decatur to Joe Garrie and Ann Standridge Garrie. He was a maintenance foreman for BP. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, loving husband, father, and friend to many. His mother preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Rainey Garrie; one daughter, Chesney Lynn Garrie; his father, Joe Garrie; two brothers, Joey Garrie and wife, Lori, and Steven Garrie and wife, Laura; nephew, Lance Garrie; and nieces, Cheyanne Garrie and Autumn Garrie.
Pallbearers will be Brian Tucker, Jay Pace, David Brown, Steven Greene, Shane Williams and Jason Fortenberry.
