Funeral services for Judith Norma Rodgers, 89, of Hartselle, will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Mt Vernon West Congregational Methodist Church, with interment in adjoining cemetery, Bro. Glenn McCain officiating. The body will lie in state from 1-2 at the church.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rodgers passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 7, 1925 to parents Staunton Grant and Mary Idabelle Willingham Looney.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carse Elbert Rodgers; a brother, Howard E. Looney; and a son-in-law, Raymond Pinson, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Grant (Peggy) Rodgers, Brady (Vicki) Rodgers; two daughters, Judi (Donn) Calloway, Gwyn Pinson; a sister, Elizabeth McClellan; 13 grandchildren, Shellee (James) Johnson, Diann (Phillip) Kessler, Barby (Gary) LeBlanc, Greg (Linda) Rodgers, Glenn (Jolanda) Rodgers, Gary (Ashley) Rodgers, Brad (Brenda) Pinson, Mitch (Kim) Pinson, Chris (Kim) Pinson, Raleigh Pinson, Ben (Jess) Pinson, Bryce (Heather) Rodgers, Brent Rodgers; dedicated and loving caregiver, Bonnie Winkle; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 31st, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
