Mrs. Rosalyn Diane Garner, age 57, of Florence, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. She was born on Aug. 4, 1957, and was preceded in death by her mother, Louisa Fox, sister, Tonia King Briggs, and grandparents, John (Sarah) Andrews Sr. and Vanis Alma King.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Garner Jr.; son, Rosario King; daughter, Delisha Garner, of Florence, Alabama; grandchildren, Jalisa Box, Louisa Bowling, DeMarckus Garner, and Te-Eirra Anderson, of Florence; father, John Thomas King; sister, Glenda (Albert Allison) King, of Knoxville, Tennessee; aunts, Lillie Mills, Joyce (Robert) Martin, and Janice Moore; uncle, Robert Jean King, of Knoxville, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The memorial service will be today at noon at First Missionary Baptist Church, 1103 Sterling Blvd., Sheffield, Alabama, with the Rev. F.C. Rowlett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment will be at Highland South Memorial Park, Knoxville, Tennessee.
