Noah Reeves – Obituary

Noah Reeves, 93, departed this life on October 15, 2014, in Memphis, Tennessee. A veteran of World War II Signal Corp, Reeves was awarded a Bronze Star for bravery in the Battle of Mindoro in the Philippine Islands. He retired from Kimberly Clark Corporation after 35 years where he worked in the shipping department. Noah was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Ethel Terry Reeves; his wife, Margaret; and sons, David and Kenny Reeves and twin sons who died in infancy.

He is survived by daughters, Donna (Charles) Flanigan of Bartlett, Vicki (Ron) Schmidt of Collierville, Terry (James) Hathcock of Millington and Margie (Robert Henry) Gosa of Memphis. He also leaves eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren to cherish the memory of their much loved “GranGran.”

The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN today, October 17, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. and at Old Bethel Church in Courtland, AL on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from noon to 2 p.m. Graveside services will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Courtland at 2 p.m.
