Hoyt Lelton Thompson, 80, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.
Mr. Thompson was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Mt. View Baptist Church, Phil Campbell. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Phil Campbell Masonic Lodge #880.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Thompson; children, Randy Thompson (Wanda), Littleville, Vickie Thompson and Thomas Thompson (Karla), both of Phil Campbell; sister, Kay Wilson, Louisiana; brother, Jerry Don Thompson, Washington; grandchildren, Scotty Thompson, Stephanie Cothrum, Caleb Thompson and Lexie Thompson; great-grandchildren, Felicia Thompson, Nicole Thompson, Austen Cothrum, Kimberlee Cothrum and Renzie Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Agnes Thompson; brothers, Buddy Thompson and Larry Thompson; and sister, Betty Thompson.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
The family will receive friends at home.
