Brenda Scott Cobb, 58, of Kennedy, formerly of Red Bay, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Waukegan, Ill. to Clarence Hubert and Margaret Louise Scott. She worked at Golden Manufacturing for many years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Derek Summeral and Bro. Eugene Digby officiating. Burial will be in Berry Cemetery, Vina, Ala. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Cobb, Kennedy; daughters-Patricia McMinn Price of Nashville, Tenn. and Valarie McMinn Hale (Josh) of Montgomery; mother, Margaret Scott of ed Bay; sister, Lorraine Crouch (David) of Hartselle; brother, Dennis Scott (Tammie) of Red Bay; half-brother, George Owens (Terri) of Fayetteville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Jordan Bridges, Theoren Bridges, Abigail Price, Olivia Price, Kaetriyana Hale and Destiny Cobb; one great grandson, Aiden Cox; step-son, Daniel Cobb (Tiffany) of Kennedy; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Scott.
Pallbearers will be Theoren Bridges, Josh Hale, David Crouch, Brandon Franks, Jason Cowart, and Bob Buscherfield.
Visitation will be today from 10-11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay –
