Mama Joy’s Pink is Power 5k & Fun Run October 11th starting at 7 am at Heritage Park. In partnership with the Pink is Power run is the Painted Bra Project. This will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2014 at Coffee and Canvas from 5 pm-9 pm. The cost is $40 and includes all supplies. Then on Saturday, all painters that participate in the Pink is Power Run MUST wear their painted bras!!! To reserve your bra, contact Sandra @ 256-777-5066 or Brandi @ 256-247-1911. 

America’s Great Loop Cruisers “Loopers Crawl” and concert is October 15th. The concert features the KGB band with an opening act performed by Taylor McLain. The fun starts at 6 pm at the Old Cotton Gin on hiway 91 south of hiway 72 at the traffic light. The loopers are a really fun group of boaters that hale from all over the US. You will enjoy mingling with them and getting to know them. The cost for the concert is $20. Butlers Restaurant will be catering a meal that will cost $12.50 and much be pre-ordered & paid thru the chamber. Contact Chamber office for more details. 256-247-9449.
Fall Festival is October 18th in downtown Rogersville. Antique Car & Truck Show, Swap Meet, Chili cook-off, Kids Zone that includes a great safety program put on by the Volunteer Fire Department. There will be a children’s costume parade, a pet costume parade and lots of great boutique shops with the new fall merchandise and great variety.
FLW Fishing Tournament will be held October 29th – November 1st at Joe Wheeler.
November events include Christmas Open House November 1st. Veteran’s Day Stew & Celebration at the United Methodist Church, Lighting of the Town, Optimist Club’s Iron Bowl Pancake Breakfast at LCHS.
