Myra Alice Ellenwood, 70, of Florence, AL, formerly of Decatur, AL, died September 26, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born May 16, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur and Violet Ellenwood.
Visitation will be Monday, September 29, 2014, from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm, with the funeral immediately following the visitation at Greenhill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked for Compass Bank before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Eugene McLaughlin, and nephew, Brian Milliken.
She is survived by her sisters, Gayle McLaughlin, Florence, and Carol (Ron) Milliken, Papillion, NE, nephews Wendell (Janice) McLaughlin, Jared (Sheila) McLaughlin, Patrick Milliken, and niece Andrea (James) Cole, and numerous friends.
Pallbearers will be Wendell McLaughlin, James Cole, Austin Cole, and other friends.
