Funeral services for John D Elrod, 76, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Monday, September 29th at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Steve Bryan officiating with interment in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Elrod passed away Friday, September 26, 2014, at his residence. He was born June 14, 1938 to parents, Lorenzo Dewey and Mary Haddock Elrod.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Janet Elrod; step son, Robert (Pam) Vogt; grandchildren, Amber (Josh) Hembree, Candice (Kerry) Parris, Shane (Merideth) Jacobs, Kaitlin (Seth) Greenwood; great grandchildren, Alli Grace Hembree, Annaka Hembree, Karson Parris, Brayden Parris, Max Parris, Dean Jacobs, Makaren Jacobs, Sylas Greenwood; aunt, Catherine Haddock; cousin, Mary Jane Schaffer; a host of family and friends
Visitation will be Monday morning at the funeral home from 10:30-2.
