Doris “Dot” Faye Hunt Murks age 71, of Florence, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Friday, September 26th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dale Boren officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. She was a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ and was retired with Midsouth Vending. Preceded her in death were her parents, Jessie and Myrtle Hunt; brothers, Bill, Red, and Charlie Hunt; sisters, Polly Mot and Sherry Pendergrass. Survivors include her husband, Roy Murks; daughter, Michele Murks and Fiance`, Larry Stanley; granddaughter, Paige Murks brother, Frank Hunt; sisters, Earline, Libby, Teresa, and Pat. Several nieces and nephews.
