Mary Kellum, 80 of Toney, Alabama died on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Born Saturday, December 23, 1933 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Eugene West and the late Irene Hicks Jaggers. She was a member of New Life Woship Center in Athens, Alabama and loved attending church. She lived most of her life in this area. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Allen Dean Kellum, son: Phillip Michael Claunch, brother: Allison West, two granddaughters and on egreatgranddaughter.
Surviving are sons, Glen Claunch of Macon, GA, Donnie Claunch of Spanaway, WA and Duck Claunch of Ardmore, AL, daughters, Yvonne Colwell of Athens, AL and Fay Wiening of Hammond, IN, , Doris Bell of Toney, AL, step-daughter: Pat Butler of Athens, AL, brother, Wade West of Pulaski, TN, sisters, Rachel Earhard of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Joyce Novack of Naples, FL, Martha Ann Ostrowski of Tomahawk, WI and Peggy Osorio of San Jose, CA, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Donald Clem and Bro. Bruce Addison officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
