Ladell Mason, age 72, of New Hope, died on Tuesday September 23, 2014.
Mr. Mason was a member of Big Cove Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert McClain and Marie Maynard Mason; and his brother, Charles Mason.
Mr. Mason is survived by his loving wife of 53 years of marriage, Wanda Mason; his children, Randy Mason and wife Kim, Rickey Mason and wife Mistee, and Robert “Bob” Mason and Ruth Beshears; and his grandchildren, Dustin Mason, Padean Mason, Maverick Mason, McClain “Mac” Mason, and Hailey Brooke Powell.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Kelly, Mitch Smith, Tyler Smith, Todd Pinkerton, Eric Stapler, and Scott Dean.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Pouge, Carroll Stone, David “Bugs” Pinkerton, Tommy Smith, and Robert Fortner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday September 26th at 2 pm at Big Cove Holiness Church with Bro. Mark Warren and Bro. Lee Lawson officiating. Mr. Mason will lie in state from 1pm until 2pm. Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 25th from 4pm until 8pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
