Clara Omega (Young) Hunter, age 92 of Owens Cross Road, passed away Friday at Huntsville Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Hunter, one daughter Carol Ann Hunter and one son James Alton Hunter.
She is survived by her two daughters, Earlene (Tommy) Bell and Linda (Wilson) Byrd, four grandchildren, Butch Byrd, Kristy (Ted) Martin, Stacey (Roger) Thompson and Angie (Mike) Gill, nine great-grandchildren, Cody Bearden, Skylar Bearden, Taylor Byrd, Mariah Martin, Kaylee Moon, Chelsea Moon, Hunter Thompson, Kacey Thompson, and Kaleb Thompson, two great-great-grandchildren, Henry McGuire and Raylynn Bearden Welch.
Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Service will be Monday at 11:00 am, in Spry’s Chapel with Bro. Mark Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Campground Cemetery.
