Johnny “JJ” Johnson, age 71, of Florence passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Mr. Johnson worked at Quinn’s as an auto mechanic until retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys McMullan; parents, Green Hayes (Lena); adopted parents, Laveren & Iva Johnson; brothers, George & Jerry Hayes; sisters, Madeline Overbay & Barbara Ann Hayes.
