Loyd Edward Atchley, 81 of Taft, Tennessee died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at his home.
Born Tuesday, October 18, 1932 in Paint Rock, Alabama, he was the son of the late Harvey Edward Atchley and the late Eula MayToney Atchely. He was a member of Calvary Holiness Church and was a lifelong resident of this area. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife: Frances Marie Atchley of Taft, TN, sons, Jeffery Atchley of Taft, TN, Rodney (Kathy) Atchley of Fayetteville, TN, Kirby (Tammy) Atchley of Coldwater, TN, Ernie (Lori) Atchley of Taft, TN, Aaron (Belinda) Atchley of Taft, TN, Tim (Lisa) Atchley of Toney, AL, Joey Atchley of Taft, TN and Harvey Atchley of Toney, AL, daughter, Audra (John) Kennedy of Decatur, AL, brothers, David Atchley of Elkmont, AL and Gordon Atchley of Ardmore, TN, sisters, Vera Mae (Rufus) Pyle of Gurley, AL and Era Gay Bradley of Toney, AL, 29 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchidren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Jimmy Morrow officiating. Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, TN.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
