Keelan Shane Holder, 38, of Hamilton, Alabama, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at Russellville Hospital. He was born in Amory, Mississippi and worked as an oil rig driller. He was a member of Hodges Convention Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother Heath McCarley officiating. Burial will be in Tilden Cemetery, Fulton, Mississippi. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two sons, Logan Holder and Dreyton Holder, both of Bossier City, Louisiana; his mother, Linda Palmer (Rusty), Grand Bay, Alabama; father, Larry Holder (Mary Lou), Wagner, Oklahoma; two sisters, Nicole Brooks (Aaron), Robertsdale, Alabama, and Ashley Hunderman (Bill), Harvest, Alabama; one brother, Derrick Nichols (Whitney), Hillsboro, Alabama; grandfather, Hollis Brown, Red Bay, Alabama and fiancee, Pamela Loveless, Hamilton, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Faye Brown and Mariam and William Holder.

Pallbearers will be Brian Holmes, Sascha Franklin, Greg Thomas, Kaleb Scott, and Bill Hunderman.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama and until service time on Thursday.
