george henry jones III perp walk_MG_3814SHEFFIELD – Accused murderer of his father, George Henry Morris III, was taken to the Colbert County Jail this afternoon. He was earlier charged with murder and robbery in connection with Monday’s death of his father, George Henry Morris II.

Police officials warned the media who were on hand to record Morris’ transport to Tuscumbia that he was very combative. The following video of his ‘perp walk’, as it’s called, illustrates their point.

Please be advised that this video is not edited to remove some of Morris’ language, and some of it is disturbing. Readers who are offended by strong language should not watch this video.

This portrayal of George is horrible, George is a one of the sweetest human beings and loves his family dearly, he has epilepsy and has seizures that sometimes leave him dazed, confused, and even hallucinating. None of that has been captured in any story told and people deserve to know all thr facts.

Epilepsy and seizures doesn’t cause someone to stab someone MULTIPLE times. He sure showed his father some love, huh?! You knew exactly what he done, that’s exactly why he attempted to flee!

I don’t know you Sam but I do know George and I have personally dealt with his condition so before you judge someone you don’t just keep your comments to yourself, unless your a doctor but I doubt it just another ignorant bystander.

Well said Cynthia!! I know him as well…grew up with him…he spent a LOT of time at my house with my brother. This portrayal of him in this video IS NOT the person he is. I think that if you don’t know a person personally, you shouldn’t be so quick to judge them if you haven’t lived their life of walked in their shoes. This breaks my heart. For “Sam” to say “he knew what he was doing” is out of line and a personal OPINION. The look in his eyes in the video and pics is something I’ve NEVER seen in the 20+ yrs I’ve known him. Prayers up for his brother, mother and close family.
