Funeral service for William Larry Smith, 75, of Moulton, will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at noon at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship on Highway 157 in Moulton with Rev. Tony Collins officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight, September 2, 2014, from 6 to 9 at the church.
Larry, who passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born June 25, 1939, in Lawrence County to Auburn and Almeda Smith. He was retired as Lawrence County Circuit Clerk. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and singing. Larry’s church affiliation was Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Waymon Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Ora Dean Smith of 48 years; sons Harlan Dale Reeves and Jeffrey Kim Reeves and wife Kellie; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Baldwin and husband Buel.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Reeves, Chase Reeves, Johnathan Martin, Charles Bishop, Bryan Reeves and Marty Baldwin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Magruder, Blake White, Mikey Gibson and Chris Martin.
