Funeral service for Wendell Ray Standridge, 80, of Ardmore will be Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Ivan Armor officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Standridge, who died Monday, August 25, 2014, at his residence, was born May 13, 1934, in Decatur to Jeff Standridge and Selma Price Standridge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Standridge.
He is survived by one son, Dewey Standridge (Lisa) of Ardmore; one daughter, Kay Hasting of Huntsville; three stepdaughters, Amelia Brooks of Gulf Shores, Cindy Carnell of Eva and Christy Belew of Pulaski, TN; one brother, Gerald Standridge (Karen) of Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
