Freeda Hill Jones, age 92, of Florence passed away Friday, August 22, 2014. Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Joe Van Dyke officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her nephew, Max Hill, James Valentine, James Ed Champion, Chad Champion, Chris Champion and Chris Somers. Mrs. Jones was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church of Florence, member of Lauderdale County Extension Club and V.I.P.S. She retired after 27 years of service with TVA. Preceding her in death was her husband, James A. “Casey” Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Champion (Gregg); sister, Pauline Hillis; grandsons, Chad Champion and Chris Champion; great-grandchildren, Chase, Abby and Cayden Champion. Nieces and Nephews.
