Trent Conner McGee, 19, of Florence, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ, and Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Trent was a sophomore student attending the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He loved life and brought a smile to everyone he met. His free spirit was loved by all. We know he was happy. We know the “guardian” angels of life fly so high as to be beyond our sight, but they are always looking down upon us, “Jean Richter.” We will forever miss our “Tom Cat”, but he will never be forgotten!
Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2014 from 9 – 11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral home. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Frank Mills officiating. Burial will follow in McGee Cemetery, 4000 County Road 63, Killen, Ala. 35645.
Trent is survived by his parents, John and Lori McGee; fiancée, Joyce Eccleston; brother, Jake Richard McGee; sister, Abigail Grace McGee; grandparents, James and Bobbie McGee, Larry and Sherry Hamilton; aunts and uncles, Wade and Faye McGee, Alice and Randy Brake, Vickie and Ronnie Brake, Joey and Edith McGee, David and Becky Hamilton.
Pallbearers will be Randy Brake, Ronnie Brake, Jake McGee, John McGee, Roger Lanier, and Seth Waller.
