Reba Elaine Adams age 64 of Athens, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Adams was born December 24, 1949 in Limestone County to Herman Hardy and Louise Holmes Hardy.
Services will be Sunday, August 24, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Kasey Harbin and Kevin Harbin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hardy Cemetery.
Preceded in death by her son, Jamie Lynn Adams.
Survived by her husband, James L. Adams of Athens; three children, Kenia Adams, Marty R. Adams and wife, Marvella, Susie Wilbanks and Shelly Scruggs; one sister, Joyce Harbin and Sherry K. Hardy; two brothers, Gilbert D. Hardy, and Benton Hardy; seven grandchildren, Christopher Wilbanks, Andrea Wilbanks, Landon Adams, Nathaniel Adams, Ericka Scruggs, Kenneth James Adams and Destiny Scruggs; several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Wilbanks, Landon Adams, Nathaniel Adams, Kenneth Adams, Keith Harbin and Kenneth Harbin. Honorary pallbearer will be Kim Harbin.
